Event Schedule
◆ Dates: Friday, August 14 – Sunday, August 16, 2026
◆ Venue: National Aso Youth Friendship Center (6029-1 Miyaji, Ichinomiya machi, Aso city, Kumamoto Prefecture)
◆ Eligibility: High school students and international students (including foreign research students)
◆ Number of Participants: Approximately 120 (around 20 slots available for international students)
◆ Participation Fee: ¥3,000 (tax included) for international students
◆ Workshops: This year, seven subcommittees under different themes will be offered:
(1) Healthcare: Beyond the Healthcare Gap. Take that first step!
(2) Education: What does learning for an authentic life look like?
(3) Multicultural Coexistence: Recognize the stereotypes we carry - and create opportunities to connect without labels.
(4) Peace: Our differences can divide us or bring us together. That’s why understanding them matters.
(5) Natural Disasters: In times of emergency, let’s learn the wisdom and actions to survive together.
(6) Children`s Rights: ~What rights and freedoms does it take for children to grow up smiling?~
(7) Well-being: Are we unhappy?
