【Let's get started! Deco-Katsu - New Lifestyles Leading to Decarbonization Shisei-Dayori May 2025 (2)】
Global
warming countermeasures are necessary!
Recent
abnormal weather is said to be caused by global warming due to the excessive
increase of greenhouse gases such as carbon dioxide. In order to prevent global
warming, the city is promoting efforts to achieve the “Carbon Neutral by 2050”
(to reduce greenhouse gas emissions to virtually zero). We ask for your
cooperation in “Deco-Katsu” activities that lead to decarbonization.
Examples
of “Deco-Katsu” activities
・Reduce the amount of
time spent using home appliances (air conditioners and televisions)
・Replace appliances
and equipment with energy-efficient ones
・Introduce
energy-efficient housing and renewable energy
・Choose
environmentally friendly means of transportation (bicycles, public
transportation, next-generation automobiles)
・Reduce redelivery of
parcels by specifying time zones and using parcel boxes

Check for safety even at green lights
(3)
Check the location of “Children's Hinan-no-Ie” (Children's Hinan House)
(4)
Be especially careful on rainy days
(5)
Take your time in the morning
