To prevent wasteful disposal of vaccines,
we inform you of vaccination when there are cancellations at the medical
institutes or mass inoculation venues
※Registration in advance is required.
For those who meets all the following
requirements:
・Those who have a certificate of residence
in Kumamoto City.
・Those who are over 20 years old when you
register.
・Those who have a vaccination ticket for
COVID-19..
・Those who have never got vaccinated
against COVID-19.
・Those who do not have a reservation for
vaccination.
※Even after registration, you can make a
reservation for the 7th term of COVID-19 vaccination.

【Be Careful of Breakthrough Infection! Shisei Dayori, October (2)】
Vaccination is effective to prevent the
onset and the serious condition of COVID-19. However, it is impossible to avert
infection completely by inoculation. There is a risk of breakthrough infection,
which means you get infected with COVID-19 after the vaccination. Please keep
wearing a face mask and wash your hands frequently even after the inoculation.
Data of vaccination and infected people show that vaccination works effectively
to prevent infection. Nevertheless, approximately four percent of the infected
people are those who became infected after two weeks from their second
vaccinations, which is called “breakthrough infection”.
【Issue of Disability Benefits of COVID-19（National Health Insurance）. Shisei Dayori, October(3)】
Disability benefits are issued during the
period you cannot work because you get infected with COVID-19 or you feel sick
and are suspicious of infection. You need to meet certain requirements. For
application, you need a certificate from a business operator.
For those who meets the following four
requirements:
The insured with national health insurance
who receive salary.
Those who could not work because you got
infected with COVID-19 or you were suspicious of infection.
Those who were absent from work for three
consecutive days and more than one day on and after the fourth day. (The three consecutive days include public
holidays and paid leave.)
Those who cannot get salary payments or have been paid with a partial reduction.

【For those who have troubles with living expenses due to leave or unemployment, Shisei Dayori, October(4)】
Kumamoto City Council of Social Welfare
makes an emergency petty loan or
comprehensive support fund to those who have troubles with living
expenses due to reduction of salary, leave or unemployment because of the
pandemic of COVID-19. They are free of interest and you do not need a
guarantor. There is an exception to be exempt from repayment. The deadline for
the application was extended to the end of November, 2021.

【Risk Inspection for Stomach Cancer will Start from October！Shisei Dayori, October (5)】
Helicobacter Pylori is germ which has a deep
connection with occurrence of Stomach Ulcer, Duodenal Ulcer, Chronic Atrophic Gastritis
and Stomach Cancer. In case of risk-inspection for stomach cancer (Blood
Inspection), it will be judged, by checking if there is any pylori germ or not.
※ This Inspection is not an inspection to find cancer.
Inspection Contents: Blood Inspection
(Helicobacter・Pylori Anti-body Inspection)
Charges :700 Yen
※ Households
whose City and Prefectural Taxes have not been levied and also households who have received livelihood
assistance are free of charge by showing a related certificate.
Target people ：those
who are old in 40~49 years (at the time of March 31, 2022 (Reiwa4-Nen)
But following people cannot receive above
inspections.
〇 those who have had the Helicobacter
Pylori - Inspection or removed the germs ( those who have had the
Inspection in the past, even once.)
〇 those who have their stomach removed
(removed completely)

applied, nevertheless recruitment.
【Be careful of Food Poisoning by Clostridium Botulinum, Shisei Dayori, October (7)】
Food poisoning by Clostridium Botulinum has
occurred in July, in Kumamoto Prefecture.
Even if they are sealed food by vacuum
packing and so on, if they are left in the normal temperature, clostridium germ will increase
and possibly become a cause for food poisoning to threaten the life. Please check the
cautions on both the front and the back of the packing and do the proper cold storage treatment
and heat-treating.
