Cautious Alert against Heatstroke” is the information when heatstroke risk is forecasted
to get high remarkably and also ask people to pay attention to dangerous heat and
preventive actions against heatstroke. The information is available at the Homepage
of the Environment Ministry. If the cautious alert against heatstroke is issued, let’
s try to take more actions than usual for prevention of the heatstroke.

Refrain from going outside as less
as possible and avoid heat.
(2)
Adjust room temperature by
using an air-conditioner or other devices, regardless of daytime or night-time
(3)
Stop or postpone physical exercises
in the outside
(4)
Practice “Protective Actions Against
Heatstroke” more carefully than usual, with cool clothing, tenderly water- taking and
so on.
Tell people who have higher risks for
heatstroke (Senior people, Children, Those with disease and so on) to use an
air-conditioner and take water.

Check Heat Index (WBGT)
Since the Heat Index differs remarkably depending on the Time Zone and
Place, check it tenderly and use it as the action criteria.
