For the time when we have to move quickly, Let’s have time to talk actions and preparations for disasters we should take, among family members.

Let’s prepare the stock of foodstuff for three(3) days at least or for one week if possible.

Water is about three(3) litters necessary per day for one person.  Let’s stock main foods, and also assistant foods or secondary foods of canned foods, retort-food and so on.

Also, you can feel safe if you stock sanitary goods and others of rather larger quantity on regular basis, in addition to milk, diapers necessary for babies.

Let’s make sure evacuation actions when in disasters, by making the most use of a hazard map!

“Kumamoto City Hazard Map” in which you can check disaster risks of flood, landslide and so on, has been open to the public. Let’s check, together with your close people, in addition to your residence, school and working place, the route to evacuation place and try to have in mind evacuation actions in advance.
