The Time for Medical Examination at Nighttime Emergency Patients Center during Holidays (Kumamoto Area Medical Center) will be Changed (Shisei Dayori, October-(2))

 The departments of internal medicine and surgery at Nighttime Emergency Patients Center(Kumamoto Area Medical Center) will be suspended in the middle of the night (11.00pm~8.00 am, next morning). On the other hand, the Pediatrics will continue to be open in the middle of the night.

We will reinforce the measures to block taking away resources and related items from October 1. (Shisei Dayori, October (3))

Kumamoto City has prohibited the actions to take away the resources of old papers such as newspapers and aluminum cans and so on from waste-collection stations except the City or persons the City has entrusted with. The offenders will be charged 20-Manen or less.
For the purpose of reinforcing the measures to eradicate the actions of taking away resources, the City will make a partial amendment of regulations and enforce it from October
1. Therefore, the following contents will be added to the regulations by this amendment

 *Main Items of the Amendments

(1) Getting transfer of resources items (Buying) will be prohibited so that buying dealers can not buy them.

(2) If dealers should be against the regulations, their names and related thins will be opened in the City Homepage and so on.

(3) In case that taking away or getting transfer (buying) is in doubt, City will make an necessary investigations of entry into the dealer or listening and so on.

Information Related to New Type Coronavirus Infection (Shisei Dayori, October (4))

The prevention mind and behaviors of all citizens are inevitable and very important to block the infection expansion.
Now, let’s try to prevent infection expansion from each single person, by continuing to keep in mind the new life style including preventing three(3) conditions of “sealed condition”, “dense gathering” and “dense contact with other people”, “maintaining physical distance with other people”, “wearing a mask”, “frequent hand-washing” and so on. Kumamoto City has opened its facilities after having carried out sweeping measurements for infection prevention.
We would like to ask you to understand the policy for prevention infection expansion and work with us).
When you use them, we ask you of understanding and cooperation for infection expansion by wearing a mask, disinfection by alcohol liquid, restriction number of the people and so on.

COVID-19 CONTACT-CONFIRMING APPLICATION(Shisei Dayori Oct (5))

In order to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus, the Ministry has developed a smartphone app called COCOA (COVID-19 Contact-Confirming Application). You can download the app to your smartphone.

What is COCOA?

It is a smartphone application the Japanese Ministry of Health, Labour, and Welfare has developed to stem the spread of the novel coronavirus.
With this app, you can tell the possibility of your contact with a person infected with the novel coronavirus. The app sends you the notification in case you might have spent more than 15 minutes within 1 meter with a person infected with the novel coronavirus.

What are the benefits to install the application?
By installing the app, you can instantly know the possibility of the contact with someone who tested positive for the coronavirus. You can also receive the information quickly on the support including testing for the virus that public health center and medical institutions provide.The more users it has, the more effectively the app works to prevent the spread of the infection.

How can I sign up for this service?                                            
To use COCOA, you need to install the app on your smartphone. You can easily find COCOA on App Store or Google Play. You can also download the app from QR cord on the website of Japanese Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare.

 Usage fee of non-registered preschool and childcare facilities is subsidized within the purview of a maximum limit.

Who is eligible for the application?

Children who have certification no. 2 or 3 of benefits for use of facilities. Benefits will cove usage fee between July and September 2020. If you have not submitted the application for the benefits between October 2019 and June 2020, you can submit them together.
