【Are You Now Prepared for Following Basic Activities to Prevent Infection?(Shisei Dayori, March (1))】

〇Let’s wear a mask correctly.

 Wearing a mask has become a matter of course for the infection prevention. Let’s wear a mask correctly and use it effectively.

(1)   Make sure which is the front and the back of the mask.

(2)   Spread the mask and cover the part from nose to jaw tightly.

(3)   Make the nose-part of the mask fit to the face, so that there is not a space there.

◆  Even if you are wearing a mask, there may have been virus attached on the front of the mask. 

   There would be a risk that virus may stick to fingers if you touch the surface of the mask. 

・When removing the mask, hold the strings for the part of the ears.

・Do not leave the removed mask on the table or other places .

・Even if you remove the mask, do not touch your face with hands which are not washed. 

〇Let’s wash hands properly.

 When you come back from outside or before you take meals and so on, wash your hands properly. 

  Let‘s  cut your nails short and remove your wrist watch and finger wrings before washing hands.

(1)   After you wet hands well with running water, put soap on your hands and scratch the palm of your hands well.

(2)   Scratch the back of your hands like stretching it.

(3)   Scratch thoroughly the parts between finger-tips and nails.

(4)   Wash the parts between fingers.

(5)   Wash thumbs and palms of the hands by twisting them.

(6)   Do not forget to wash hand-wrists.

【Target People for Secondly-Supplied Living House Securing Benefit have been Expanded.(Shisei Dayori, March (3))

The Benefit for Securing Living House is the one which is supplied to the target people who have lost the living house by having left from jobs or who have fear to lose jobs. The target people for secondly-supplied benefit have been expanded.

〇Requirements for Secondly-supplied Benefit

 After the original benefit-supply has been completed, the scope of the benefit-supply has been expanded to the following people.

 by the employer’s convenience

 ・people who were fired from jobs and in needy situation, economically.

  ・people who have decreased income, because of reasons by having left jobs, discontinued business, suspended business  

    operations and so on , other than having being fired.

〇Application Period for Secondly-supplied Benefit Until March 31, 2021

Places for Inquiry (Weekday, 9.00am~4.00pm, except Saturday, Sunday and Holidays)

【Do not forget to complete the procedures when you move in / out(ShiseiDayori March (4))】

・The windows for the procedures for the move get very crowded from late March to early April.

(The Civic affairs sections of Chuo ward and east wars will be crowded especially from March 29th to April 2nd.)

・According to the previous tendencies, it is less crowded from 8:30 am to 10:00 am and from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm

・You can complete the procedures at any ward offices in Kumamoto City,regardless of which ward you live in.

・To prevent the spread of COVID-19, please finish the procedures before the above period.

・The temporary windows for resident changes will be opened from 8:30 am to 5:15 pm on Sunday, April 4th.

The temporary windows: 

the civic affairs sections, the welfare sections, and the health and children sections at all the ward offices in Kumamoto City

※Some services are not available.

※The windows get very crowded on weekdays. Please visit us on April 4th.

【The website to learn procedures you need to complete at the administrative agencies has opened!(Shisei Dayori March (5))】

The website “Guide for Life Events” has opened, where you can get information on procedures you must complete when you move in / out, get married, have achild, and so on. You can search for procedures, things you need to bring for them, and the place where you can complete them.

 The three languages are available on the website: English, Chinese, and Japanese.

【The Hazard map (paper) will be distributed among the houses (Shisei Dayori March (6))】

We will distribute a hazard map, which is released on the website of Kumamoto City, among all the houses by March 31st. Please check the risk of natural disasters around your house and what you do when you evacuate.

【We will stop receiving large-sized garbage at East environment factory.           (Shisei Dayori, March (7))】

Due to periodical maintenance and inspection for crushing machine at East environmental factory, we will stop receiving large-sized garbage. During that time, we cannot receive large-sized garbage that needs to be crushed before being burnt. If you are in a hurry, we would like you to bring the garbage to West environment factory.

term: from March 1 (Mon) through March 11 (Thu)

*We can receive normal garbage.

【School Transfer in Elementary and Junior High School during Spring Holidays(Shisei Dayori, March (8))】

If your are going to take procedures for school transfer in Elementary and Junior High School during spring holidays, please follow the procedures below.

When the address is change from one place to another in the City

1.Get the certificates below from the school on the last school day (1) certificate of enrollment (2)salary certificate for textbooks library

2. Take above(1) and (2) to the Citizens' Affairs Section of ward or General Government Branch Office and submit the address-change notice and get (3)a school transfer notice from them.

3. Submit(1),(2) and (3) to the new school.

When you move in the City from outside

Submit an address-change notice together with above (1) and (2) you got from your previous school to the municipal office. Then get above (3)(school transfer notice) and submit(1), (2) and (3) to the new school. 

※If the address-change notice is already submitted before school transfer, take school transfer procedures with above (1) and (2) at School Affairs Section. 

When you move out from the City

Get above-mentioned (1) and (2) on the last school day and take school transfer procedures at the municipal office of the new address.
