Special Loan on Social Welfare (Emergency Small Funds)

- About Living Temporary Lending Funds-

 

Details for lending funds

›Target of lending funds:

The household who has been affected by this earthquake, residing in Kumamoto Prefecture and in need of immediate living expenses.

›Upper lending limits:

In principle, 100,000 yen or less per a household for one-time-only.  However, this shall not apply to cases falling under the following items and upper lending limits 200,000 yen or less per a household for one-time-only.

‡@the deceased by earthquake in family members

‡Aperson requiring long-term care in family members

‡Bhousehold with four persons or more

‡Cseverely injured, children and expectant by earthquake

›Grace period

Within four years from the date of lending funds

›Term of redemption

Within two years from the termination date of grace period

›Interest on lending funds

without interest

 

How to provide lending funds

›Remit money through a financial institution designated by the applicant for the credit.

 

Necessary documents

›certificate to prove your identity (driver's license, medical insurance certificate, resident card, etc.)

›seal (inkan)iIf you do not have your seal, your thumbprint is acceptable. j

›bankbook or cash card

 

 

Counter in charge

Local Municipalities Council of Social Welfare in your place of residence or Local Municipalities Council of Social Welfare in your current shelter facilities. In case you evacuated to outside Kumamoto Prefecture, it would be provided by Prefectural Council of Social Welfare in your current shelter facilities.

 

¦The procedures have been started at 13:00 on May 6 in Kumamoto City.
