Consultation about Fraudulent Business (Information from Kumamoto Prefectural Government)

The Kumamoto Consumer Affairs Center has received information that disaster-affected households within the prefecture have received phone calls notifying them that "someone from the Prefectural Government will come to provide an estimate for your roof repair". The Prefectural Government does not provide quotations for repair costs in this manner.

Please be aware of fraudulent businesses trying to take advantage of the disaster.

If you sense something suspicious, please consult with a consumer consultation desk.
