We started a "Rent a Cycle"(bicycle rental) service!
Electric power-assisted bicycles are now available in addition to bicycles.

Citizens and visitors can rent eco and user-friendly bicycles at the Kumamoto International Center.
We have many spots of interest around our center including Kumamoto Castle,
one of the three most famous castles in Japan, as well as the Sakuranobaba Johsaien,
a new tourist facility opened in March 2011, the former residence of the Hosokawa Clan, the Kumamoto Museum and the Kumamoto City Contemporary Art Museum..
Why not try visiting tourist spots by bicycle?
Electric power-assisted bicycles are especially helpful with pedaling when a rider starts out or rides uphill.  Concerning regular bicycles, a maximum of 7 days in a row rental is possible (Only regular bicycles).

[Usage Charge] Payment in advance system
1. Regular Bicycles: up to 6 hours for 300 yen / over 6 hours to one day for 500 yen**
2. Electric power-assisted bicycles: up to 6 hours for 500 yen / over 6 hours to one day for 700 yen***

*   Please return by 21:30 (by 17:00 on second and fourth Mondays of the month).
**  It is possible to rent regular bicycles for a maximum of 7 days in a row.
*** Please return electric power-assisted bicycles on that day which you rent.
